Tim Rayl was raised in Palo Cedro, CA. Upon graduating from Foothill High School in 1995, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from University of the Pacific’s Eberhardt School of Business.

From 1999 to 2006, Tim worked for Pac-West Telecomm, Inc. in Stockton, CA. In his tenure at Pac-West, Tim conducted market research, authored business plans, and led large cross functional teams in the conceptualization, development, and launch of new services that generated $15MM in new annual revenue. In addition, he managed the lifecycle of a portfolio of services worth over $90MM in annual revenue to the business.

In January 2006, Tim and his wife, Nikki (also from the Redding area), returned home to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams. Nikki entered her family’s business, Frozen Gourmet, Inc. and Tim started his consulting practice, Simple Business Solutions. Since then, Simple Business Solutions has shown more than 85 companies how to reduce costs, increase revenue, and differentiate from competitors. Simple has been retained by local businesses and large corporations to help them achieve their business objectives.
